The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for maintaining official City documents (including ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds and easements), keeping minutes of City Council and Authority meetings, advertising and receiving applications for various boards and commissions, publishing legal notices, and digitally archiving municipal documents.
The Office of the City Clerk processes all City revenues, including utility payments (water), payments for miscellaneous business licenses and contractors’ licenses, payments for permits, special assessment payments, and daily deposits from other municipal departments.
Staff provides strategic management of the city’s finances and performs functions necessary to conduct the financial business of the organization. Financial services include:
