Strenghtening Communities and Creating Jobs in Our City
The City of Eufaula has embarked on a campaign to promote the growing economic opportunities and increasing cultural interests that make Eufaula's communities great.
Terry Helliq, CecD a national certified economic developer, is president of TLH and Associates and is dedicated to bringing cost-effective Economic Development to Rural Oklahoma through business recruitment, business startups, business incubators, venture capital, financing packages and shell buildings. As of January 1998, TLH and Associates has assisted in creating 415 jobs in seven rural communities, totaling an investment of over $10,000,000.00
Previously Helliq has served as Executive Director for Zeremba Oklahoma Group, developing the Oklahoma Shell Building Program. Helliq’s accomplishments include securing financing for ten major companies through state CDBG funds. Helliq was instrumental in forming a venture capital group to invest in start-up business in the McAlester, Oklahoma area, which has been featured in Forbes Magazine.
Helliq assisted with creating and retaining 1,872 jobs without the assistance of a sales tax incentive, he was selected in 1996 by the Oklahoma Economic Development Council as the Professional of the year and recognized by the Oklahoma House and Senate.
